The links to the packing don't seem to work. Does anyone have a link to the packing manual?
Here you go, thanks for making me aware the links are broken I will update soonest in the meantime I have uploaded the manual onto Google Drive https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HNHWYOcQKaldAPZjP-VUwprh2JtbVyhW/view?usp=sharing
Thank you so much for the link to the owners manual. I should have my wing in hand this weekend. If the fabric passes the pull-test, I intend to take this on as a project. I read the article by someone who restored one, and like him, intend to put it on 3ring risers in a modern container. Of course, I have lots of questions about how the Opening Shock Inhibitor works, as well as how to land the canopy. Are you the person who can give me advice (and possibly a Zoom consultation) or, if not, can you recommend anyone? Let me know. I'm really excited about this. (My first jump was in 1980 on rounds, then para commanders, then a Strato Cloud. I now jump a pilot 132ZPX, but always thought that the Delta II (and paradactly) were the most beautiful canopies in the sky. I'm looking forward to filling in my experience gap with this canopy).
Hi mate, Andrew Hilton is the rigger who restored the canopy for me, I have jumped it about 10 times http://www.delta-ll-parawing.com/p/the-res.html
leave an email address here and we will contact you
On the landings, I would turn the canopy into the wind and take the landing. I have seen footage of the Red Devils pulling down on the rear risers to flare.
